Air / Stack Monitoring
Aqua Designs India Private Limited offers a wide variety of services concerning air sampling and monitoring. Our services include measurements of stack emissions into the air as well as measurements of ambient air and workplace monitoring. Depending on the kind of parameters air measurements are directly done on site or analysis is carried out in our “State of the Art” laboratory. Aqua Designs has a vast experience in the execution of big projects in the area of environment all over the country and we have been successfully executing more than 50 projects during the last 4 years. Aqua Designs is well equipped with sophisticated and versatile analytical instruments and having updated technology for various analytical applications in the field of environment. We have professional post graduate scientists and engineers in the field of environment to serve our customers. Our Laboratory and environment field services are certified by ISO 9001:2008 and have accreditation of NABL as per ISO/IEC 17025:2005. We are currently engaged in process of obtaining the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF) certification as per EPA.
Monitoring and Testing of Stack Emissions
Accurate monitoring of Stack Emissions is very important for regulatory and process control requirements. Under the Environmental Protection Act (EPA) 1990, all industrial processes must regularly monitor their emissions from chimney stacks, ventilators or other means. These emissions monitoring and measurement requires the use of correct equipment by trained professionals. Aqua Designs is engaged in monitoring and measurements of stack emissions by correct choice of usage methods, equipment, and sampling location etc., Stack Emissions Monitoring services are undertaken by utilizing current IS (BIS), ISO, USEPA methods in order to provide data for submission to State Pollution Control Boards and regulatory bodies.
Parameters commonly covered by our stack emissions monitoring, include:
 |
Suspended Particulate Matter |
 |
SOx, NOx |
 |
Lead |
 |
Carbon Monoxide |
 |
Carbon Dioxide |
 |
Hydro Carbons |
 |
Volatile Organic Compounds |
 |
Acid Gases |
 |
Fluoride |
 |
Ammonia etc., |
Ambient Air Monitoring and Measurement
Ambient air is important simply because we can't avoid breathing in the air around us. Air pollutants can cause a variety of health problems, including breathing problems like asthma, bronchitis and other lung problems. By ambient air monitoring we can judge compliance meeting ambient air quality standards. Aqua Designs has engaged itself in monitoring and measurement of ambient air as per Pollution Control Board norms and other National and International standards. The main objective of monitoring ambient air is to determine status and trends of ambient air quality and compliance as per national and international standards.
Aqua Designs plans and execute the ambient air monitoring of pollutants like:
Sulpur Dioxide |
Nitrogen Dioxide |
Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM) |
Respirable Suspended Particulate Matter |
Hydrocarbons |
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) |
Carbon Monoxide |
Carbon Dioxide etc., |
as per customers and regulatory requirements. The monitoring of meteorological parameters such as wind speed, direction, relative humidity and temperature will also be integrated with air quality as per customers and regulatory requirements. Aqua Designs has a complete set of equipment for sampling and “State of the Art” laboratory for testing.
Indoor Air Quality Monitoring and Measurement
Concerns with indoor air quality (IAQ) have increased in office buildings because of minimizing the infiltration of outside air and contributing to the buildup of indoor air contaminants. IAQ generally refers to the quality of the air in an office environment. Complaints about IAQ range from simple complaints, such as the air smelling odd to more complexes, where the air quality causes illness and loss of work time. Aqua Designs has complete capabilities to monitor and measurement of Indoor Air Quality as per applicable national and international standards. We can monitor and test for the following parameters in Indoor Air Quality monitoring:
Biological contaminants |
Carbon Monoxide |
Carbon Dioxide |
Formaldehyde |
Hydro carbons |
Volatile Organic Compounds |
Particulates etc., |
